Spring Gathering – Everyone Welcome!

An old African Tale…

“There was once a troubled tribe who turned to their Medicine Man for advice.

The first question he asked them was,”when was the last time you played and danced together?”

The people of the tribe could not recall such an event.

The Wise Man reminded them –  a healthy community is one that finds time to sing, dance and play together…”

Everyone welcome! A day of shared creativity inspired by anthroposophy.

The York Steiner School Adult Learning Group warmly invite you to the 2nd event of the year continuing on our ongoing storytelling journey on Saturday 23rd March 2019.

An inspiring opening talk on ‘The Riddles of Being Human Today’ followed by a creative exploration of some of the themes raised in the talk through the medium of puppetry.

With experienced hands-on guidance on various puppetry techniques (shadow, string, rod, tabletop, and gloves), each working group will get to perceive, ponder and play!

Creche provision available for Kindergarten and school age children subject to prior booking. Toddlers welcome with parents (special rest / play area will be designated)
