E-Safety Evening for Parents

Technology advances at an ever increasing rate and many parents, myself included, can feel somewhat left behind and unsure of how best to integrate new technology into their family life in a safe and secure way.

Given that many of the older children access the internet via various devices and use internet-connected mobile phones outside of school, we have arranged for P.C. Andy Patchett of North Yorkshire Police to visit school and talk to parents about internet and media safety.

P.C. Patchett has already spoken with the teaching staff and we believe the information he has to share is not only interesting and relevant but also important to parents.

We would therefore like to invite all parents to listen to P.C. Patchett and to have the opportunity to discuss and ask questions around this important topic.

The E-Safety Evening will be on Wednesday 29th January, from 7 pm, in Class 8 and is open to all parents in school.

We look forward to seeing you there.
