Yes. We ask all prospective families to arrange an appointment so we can make your visit as personal and informative as possible.

Absolutely. We encourage children to experience the school alongside their parents whenever possible.

We have limited visitor parking on available on site. If you need to park at school for accessibility reason please contact to Reception before you visit so we can arrange for parking to be reserved.

Where appropriate and subject to availability, we may be able to arrange a taster experience following your visit. All children joining school are expected to undertake a minimum three week trial.

Your visit is a chance to experience the school in a relaxed and welcoming way. You'll have the opportunity to explore our classrooms and grounds, meet members of staff and our pupils, and ask any questions you may have. There's no pressure, just an opportunity to see whether York Steiner School feels like the right fit for your family.

Yes. While many children join us in September, places may be available throughout the school year depending on your child's age and availability. We encourage you to get in touch to discuss your family's circumstances and we'll be happy to advise on the next steps.
