York Steiner School is committed to being socially inclusive and accessible to families from a wide range of financial backgrounds, while remaining a self funded school.
We keep our standard fees as low as possible to help reduce the financial barrier to attending. Families may also apply for a reduced fee based on household income through our graduated fee structure, and sibling discounts are available.
Fees are reviewed annually. The figures below apply to the 2026/27 academic year.

Early Years Funding available
From age 3 until the term your child turns 5, you may be eligible to use Early Years Funding to claim 15 free hours per week in Kindergarten.
