"My son has been at Steiner School since kindergarten. He has severe dyslexia, yet he’s been offered every opportunity to thrive and as a result sees his difference as a strength in many ways. When it came to the Class 8 play, he was concerned about learning his lines, as he was cast in a major role. Yet, thanks to his hard work and resilience that has been fostered over many years at the school, and the support of his teacher, the learning support team and his classmates, he triumphed. It was incredible to watch my child shine, believing in himself as much as he does. I credit the inclusive environment, the broad curriculum and teaching methods of the school. I am eternally grateful that we took the leap on a Steiner Waldorf education."

"Our family started their Steiner journey when our daughter was 6 months old at the Parent and Child group. We had never heard of Steiner education before but felt instantly that there was a difference to the way things were done. Warmth, rhythms and a deeper understanding of the children made us feel nourished. Our daughter is now in class 6 and our son is in class 4 and enjoying an exciting curriculum tailored to the growing child. My children are so happy coming to the school and my husband and I know that we are equipping the children not just educationally, but also with emotional intelligence and a thirst for problem-solving in life.

"Our Olympiad experience: From the moment the drums started to beat and the burning torches were lit in the opening ceremony you could feel that the day was going to be something special. That level of joy and excitement lasted the whole day and through most of the journey home too! The children were incredible from the start – cheering on their classmates, running with strength, jumping with grace and taking from it so much joy and fulfilment. I saw children who had struggled with the training really rise to the occasion and shine, running every race with absolute grit and determination. I’ve never seen grins wider than I did on Saturday. The level of respect and honour given to the children was truly beautiful to see. One moment I will never forget is in the closing ceremony when the “archons” knelt before the children to honour and recognise all they had achieved. How lucky we feel to be part of this school, and the Steiner Waldorf community."

“This is a truly exceptional school. Our children are thriving here because every lesson is designed to stimulate their curiosity and interest. Whether they’ve been building geometric shapes outdoors, doing hands-on science experiments or writing scripts for a puppet show, we know they have been learning in the best way there is – because they are curious and excited. They are becoming skilled and confident young people and we feel really grateful to have this school nearby.”
