At York Steiner School we LOVE a Ceilidh! And this Spring we enjoyed a wonderful Ceilidh dance with music from our very own Merry Maypole band! The band is made up of pupils, teachers and parents and wow, they’re fantastic!
Those familiar with our school will know that the Class 8 year includes a big trip. This years’ Class 8 are visiting Devon and Cornwall, and to help raise funds for their trip, they hosted the school’s inaugural, ‘Do-it-yourself’ Ceilidh! 🎻
With around 100 members of the York Steiner School community taking part, and a beautiful sunny evening, our gym hall was filled with music, dance, laughter, good food, chatter and good cheer!😀 🥁A HUGE thank you to the Merry Maypole band for their support for this event, and to all of those who turned out for a dance! 🌟[Best_Wordpress_Gallery id="20" gal_title="Class 8 Ceilidh 2026"]
